Appointment of Authorised Representative for Classes of Creditors under section 21 (6A) (b) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016
This IBBI circular directs Resolution Professionals to expeditiously appoint an Authorized Representative (AR) for any unrepresented class of financial creditors (comprising 10 or more creditors) in ongoing CIRPs. This mandatory electronic appointment process must be implemented whenever the approval of the resolution plan is at least 15 days away.
