The Law Suits is a Mumbai-based litigation law firm engaged in RERA, Consumer, Civil, Property, Cooperative Housing Society, Redevelopment and High Court matters.
We are looking for competent and committed Associate Advocates with 3–5 years of practical litigation experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
•        Independently handle and assist in litigation matters from drafting through final arguments.
•        Draft and settle Plaints, Suits, Written Statements, Rejoinders, Petitions, Appeals, Applications, Affidavits and other pleadings.
•        Appear before the Bombay High Court, District Courts, Consumer Commissions, MahaRERA and other judicial/quasi-judicial forums.
•        Conduct legal research and prepare case-law notes, written submissions and legal opinions.
•        Attend client conferences and provide appropriate legal assistance and advice.
•        Prepare case briefs and effectively assist the Senior Partner/Advocates in court proceedings.
•        Independently manage assigned matters and ensure timely compliance with court orders, directions and deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
•        3–5 years of relevant litigation experience.
•        Strong practical exposure to RERA, Consumer Litigation and Civil Litigation.
•        Experience in High Court appearances will be an added advantage.
•        Excellent command of legal drafting, particularly Plaints, Petitions, Written Statements, Rejoinders and Applications.
•        Sound knowledge of substantive and procedural law.
•        Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills.
•        Excellent command of English language and legal communication.
•        Ability to work independently, take ownership of matters and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates having practical experience in RERA, Consumer Litigation, Civil Suits, Property Disputes, Cooperative Housing Society and Redevelopment matters, along with regular court appearances, will be preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates residing within convenient commuting distance of the firm's work areas, particularly Borivali to Dadar and Ghatkopar to Versova.
