- We are hiring a Business Legal Manager for one of the leading NBFCs, with a strong focus on Non-Litigation, Property Title Search & Legal Due Diligence.
Locations
- 📍 Locations: #Lucknow | #Kolkata | #Mumbai | #Delhi
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property title searches and legal due diligence for lending cases
- Verify property ownership, title documents and chain of title
- Review sale deeds, agreements, mutation records, revenue records and other property documents
- Identify title defects, encumbrances and potential legal risks
- Provide legal opinions and recommendations on property-related lending cases
- Ensure proper creation and perfection of security/mortgage documentation
- Coordinate with external advocates, business, credit and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with internal legal policies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support smooth and timely closure of legal documentation for loan transactions
Ideal Candidate:
- ✅ Experience in NBFC / Banking / Housing Finance preferred
- ✅ Strong experience in Non-Litigation / Property Law / Title Search
- ✅ Hands-on experience in property title verification and legal due diligence
- ✅ Good understanding of property documentation and mortgage/security creation
- ✅ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- ✅ LL.B / LL.M preferred
