CHECKLIST OF MANDATORY ATTACHMENTS FOR COMPOUNDING APPLICATION UNDER THE COMPANIES ACT, 2013

This checklist outlines the essential legal and procedural attachments required when filing a compounding application under Section 441 of the Companies Act, 2013 (via Form GNL-1) to condone a statutory default. It ensures all critical documents are included—such as the Board Resolution, detailed compounding application with supporting affidavit, proof of default rectification, copy of Show Cause Notice (if issued), MOA/AOA, and Memorandum of Appearance/Power of Attorney. Verifying these documents prior to submission prevents maintainability objections, rejection of the application, or delays during hearings before the Regional Director or NCLT.
